Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) Powwow Arbour

• Invitation to Pipe Carriers from other Secwépemc First Nations and other First Nations that have attended the Kamloops Indian Residential School
• During the pipe filling only the pipe filling song will be sung
• Hand drummers to sing ceremonial songs afterwards
• No access to the TteS Heritage Park (“Closed”)
• There will be COVID-19 Protcols in effect – Pipe Carriers will smoke their own pipes
• TteS Pipe Carriers will take lead
• There are 6 Pipe Carriers from the White Buffalo Society chosen by TteS
• TteS Spiritual Protocols in Effect:
  • Women to wear skirts and not on their moontime
  • No talking
  • No cameras or video recording
