May 10 | Indigenous Gang Presentation

On May 10 at 11:30am, Cpl. Alistair Peers from the Indigenous Policing Services will be hosting an Indigenous Gang Presentation at Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc. The presentation will cover various aspects of gangs, including what they are, how they recruit members, the roles within gangs, and signs of drug trafficking. This presentation is being organized by the Tk̓emlúps Rural RCMP and is open to all TteS Community Members.

Gangs have been a significant issue in Indigenous communities across Canada. The presentation by Cpl. Peers will help to increase awareness about gangs and their impact on Indigenous communities. It will also provide attendees with important information about how to recognize the signs of gang involvement and drug trafficking. The presentation is an excellent opportunity for community members to engage with law enforcement and learn more about how they can help to prevent gang activity in their community.
