National Indigenous Peoples Day is June 21! Xwexwéytep me7 séwentels es tsnésep (We ask everyone to join us) at the Tk̓emlúps Powwow Arbour for an afternoon and evening of family fun that will feature physical activity, vendors, artisans and entertainment featuring Tk̓emlúps band member Jeremy Kneeshaw and Indigenous Hypnotist Scott Ward!
The afternoon and evening are split into three distinct events:
Lahal Tournament
Venue: Powwow Arbour
Registration: 12pm – 2pm
Traditional Game: 2pm
Tournament starts as soon as traditional game is over. Main tournament $3,000 plus all entry fees paid out – prize money paid to 1st, 2nd, 3rd , 4th place. True double knockout, 3 to 5 players and $100 entry fee. Rules for the tournament will be passed out at registration. No drugs or alcohol.
DONATIONS: Four Circles Justice Society, Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc Community Services and other donations

This family-friendly one mile walk/run is a great way to start and evening of fun and entertainment. Registration is FREE and all participants will receive a free T-shirt.
Evening of Entertainment
Our jam-packed evening of activities and entertainment includes:
To cap off the evening we will be treated to a hilarious and amazing Hypnosis show by the acclaimed Indigenous Hypnotist Scott Ward. Scott travels across North America entertaining and educating youth and adults with his positive high-energy comedy hypnosis shows. Performing at over 150 hypnosis events a year and having hypnotized thousands of people, Scott is a highly requested full-time comedic stage hypnotist and speaker.
