Weyt-k/Weyt-kp, I’m Myron Thomas (Toma), proud to have been born and raised in Tk’emlúps Te Secwepemc (Kamloops). I’m grateful to share two amazing children, Annalise and Myron (MJ), with Alicia John. As a newly elected member of the chief and council of Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc (TTÉS), I’m honored to take on the primary portfolio of Housing, working closely with Daylin Malloy. I’m also excited to support Vicki Manuel as secondary portfolio holder for Community Services. With certifications in Emotional Intelligence, De-escalation training, and Emotional First Aid, I’m committed to empowering positive change.

My 10-year journey with Community Services for TTÉS has been enriching, from my early days as a part-time youth worker at The Full Circle Youth Centre to my current role. I’m proud to have made a difference in my community and I’m eager to continue driving progress as a leader.
