Weyt-k Daylin Malloy (Manuel) ren skwekwst te Tk̓emlúps re st̓7é7kwen.
Born and raised in Tk̓emlúps, and a proud Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc member and devoted mother raising my children with strong community connection and values.
It is an honour to work alongside our current Kúkpi7 and Tk̓wenem7íple7 to support and uplift our people with care and commitment.
With passion and care I hold the Shared Services Portfolio (Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Emergency Preparation Planning) while also supporting the Housing Portfolio.
Prior to my current role, I served as an Aboriginal Education Worker with School District 73 advocating and supporting youth through their education success. It was a joy to be a part of the team to stand beside and uplift our youth.
For many years I worked for Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc in the Finance Department, gaining valuable experience and a thorough understanding of the internal operations.
With a desire to care for our people not only while earthside but journeying home, I became a Funeral Directors Assistant. I strongly believe in community that we will be able to provide these services with the upmost respect and care.
I will continue to uphold my Oath of Office, knowing that the decisions made not only impact our people now but the future generations.
Kukwstsétselp for those that are actively involved for the betterment of our people and community.
