Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc band members, please join us for our next land community information session on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm. This event will have dinner provided, door prizes and a presentation from Chief Derek Epp and Lands manager Deanna Honeyman from Ch’iyaqtel first nation.

This info session will provide insight on how land code supports community driven land management, greater self governance, and long-term benefits for future generations. This means our community can make quicker, locally informed decisions about how our lands are used, protected and developed.

Under the land code, we can create and implement our own laws and processes for managing our lands environment and resources without the involvement of the Indian act or indigenous services Canada.
