Born and raised in Tk’emlúps te Secwepémc on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of Secwépemcúlecw.

My parents are Gene Gottfriedson & Ramona Wilson. My grandparents on my father’s side were my late kye7e (grandma) Violet Gottfriedson & xpe7e (grandpa) Charlie Montgomery. On my mother’s side, my late kyé7e (grandma) & xpé7e (grandpa) were Connie & Leonard Louis.

Husband to Ashley and proud father to a beautiful stemkélt (daughter) Gia Gottfriedson. 

He has a variety of work experiences working with Tk’emlúps te Secwepémc organization in numerous roles, Retail store management, School District No. 73, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Educational background in Police and Justice programs from Nicola Valley Institute of Technology and Thompson Rivers University.
